Introduction

This policy explains what information RetaWeightLoss.com (the "Site") collects, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Who we are

This Site is an independent publication. The publisher of RetaWeightLoss.com is the data controller responsible for the information described in this policy.

2. What we do not collect

We do not collect:

• Any health information. We do not ask for, collect, store, or infer anything about your health, medical history, weight, body measurements, medications, or treatment. We do not build health-related profiles of visitors, and we do not pass anything about you to advertisers.
• Payment information. Nothing is sold on this Site and we do not accept payment, so we never see card or bank details.
• Account credentials. There are no accounts, logins, or user profiles.
• Waiting list or availability data. We do not operate a waiting list, an interest list, or an availability notification list of any kind, and we do not collect information for that purpose.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not run advertising on this Site.

3. Information you give us

There are two places on this Site where you can give us information, and both are optional.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address. We use it only to let you know when we publish a new article or significantly update an existing one. We do not send promotional messages, dosing information, or notifications about product pricing, availability, or access.

Contact form. If you write to us, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message, and use them only to reply.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the Site and which articles they read, so we know what to write about and what to keep updated.

Google Analytics records:

• your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your approximate location and then discards — we never see it;
• your browser, operating system, and device type;
• which pages you viewed, when, and how long you stayed;
• the website or search that brought you here.

We see this only as aggregate statistics. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with your email address or anything else you send us. Analytics data is never linked to any assumption about your health.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies as described below.

5. Cookies

Google Analytics sets two cookies on this Site, named _ga and _ga_C0EBLLG92W. They contain a randomly generated identifier that lets Google tell repeat visits apart from new ones. They do not contain your name, your email address, or anything you have typed on this Site.

Webflow, our hosting provider, may also set cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to load and for form submissions to work securely.

We do not use advertising cookies, and there are no advertising or social media trackers on this Site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The Site will continue to work normally without them.

6. How we use your information

We use what we collect only to:

• send the newsletter to people who asked for it;
• reply to messages sent through the contact form;
• understand which articles are read, so we can improve and update our content;
• keep the Site working and protect it from abuse;
• comply with the law where we are required to.

7. Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Two companies handle it on our behalf:

Webflow hosts this Site and stores newsletter and contact form submissions. See webflow.com/legal/privacy.

Google provides Google Analytics and processes the analytics data described in section 4. See policies.google.com/privacy.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a valid legal request from a public authority. If this Site were ever transferred to another operator, subscriber information would transfer with it, and we would say so on this page beforehand.

8. How long we keep it

We keep newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to deal with the matter you wrote about, and then delete them.

Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account and is then deleted automatically by Google.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so and confirm within 7 business days.

9. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
• correct it if it is wrong;
• delete it;
• stop sending you the newsletter — you can also unsubscribe using the link in any email.

To make any of these requests, email retaweightloss.contact@gmail.com. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

10. If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK

Our legal basis for sending you the newsletter and for replying to your messages is your consent, given when you subscribe or write to us. You can withdraw that consent at any time, which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

In addition to the rights above, you have the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

We aim to respond to requests within 30 days.

11. If you are in California

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, the right to have it deleted, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising either. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.

12. Children

This Site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

13. Where your information is stored

Webflow's and Google's infrastructure is located in the United States, so information collected through this Site is stored and processed there. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.

14. Do Not Track

This Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. You can block analytics cookies through your browser settings or the opt-out add-on linked in section 4.

15. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If the change is significant, we will say what changed.
